Before and After Breast Augmentation

I had been thinking about a breast enlargement for many years but was always very nervous about doing anything about it in case I regretted it. I am very slim and had very small breasts and I didn’t want to go for implants that looked like implants! Dr Cotrufo did an amazing job. I probably couldn’t have wished for a better result. They look amazing yet very natural. Right from the start he listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve. I had numerous appointments until I was sure that I did in fact want to go ahead with the procedure. Dr Cotrufo was always very patient, I took as long as I needed (just less than a year) and I never felt like I was pressured into making a decision. Even when I couldn’t decide on which size implant to go for, on the day both options were taken into the operating theatre and ‘tried on’ and Dr Cotrufo made the decision for me. It’s only been 4 weeks since the op but I am healing very nicely.

I had spent a very long time making sure that a breast augmentation was the right decision for me, and I spoke with Dr Cotrufo at length about finding the right size and shape implant for a small natural increase before we went ahead. He was very patient and considerate and never rushed me or made it feel transactional. Although I was very tense and nervous before the operation, I am extremely happy with the results. I am only one week post-op, but there have been no complications, minimal swelling and it already has achieved a very natural-looking result. The anaesthetist and nurses at Riverside Hospital were very helpful and were regularly checking up on me immediately after the operation in the hospital room, and provided me with painkillers and antibiotics, and I am recovering well.

Dr Cotrufo is a highly qualified, experienced and caring surgeon… I have considered having a breast plastic surgery for a long time but never had the courage to go ahead until a few months ago. After I had my kids I noticed my breast had gone down from a C/D to a b cup and lost its fullness, I wanted to either do fat transfer to breast of have a natural breast implant. After doing alot of research I met over 10 drs in the london but still wasn’t 100% sure as i felt very rushed or they didn’t seem to take their time to understand the patients needs, after spending hours online researching what implants I wanted to get a natural look I decided on the tear drop implant, but for some reason most of the UK and European drs always said they only did round. I did a bit more research on Realself and viewed pictures and I saw one of Dr Stefanos patient that had a breast augmentation with tear drop and it look very natural, so i contacted him and booked an appointment a few days later. He was very patient and took him time (over an hour and a half) and explained to me what to expect and what can be achieved with breast implant or fat transfer and all the pictures of his breast augmentation all look very natural, so I knew i had found my Dr., NB: his BBL patient results looked very good I may have that done later but still in two minds as am not sure I can withstand not being able to sit on lie on my Bum for two wks!! Decision made:I was all booked the following wk 23rd august at 3pm, I worked just a few minutes from Harley village where i was booked for surgery. Day of surgery:On the day of surgery I worked half day and after lunch popped to Harley village, was taken to my room by the nurse, then Dr stefano came and we went over the surgery and implant size as I wasn’t sure if i want 325cc or 370cc, but as i wanted a natural look which wouldn’t show the implant Dr. advised that i go for 325cc as that will give me a D cup and will go with my frame. I was then taken upstairs to the surgery room, were i met the anaesthetist and I woke up with breast implants :). I want in much pain, I was given something to eat and encouraged to walk abit, and was discharged after 3hours, was home just before midnight.The following day I was in alittle bit more pain but very bearable as it just felt like i had done a good work out in the gym, by day five i was all good and back to normal. I had abit of bloating but researched and found that was normal after surgery. I was booked to Dr. a week after surgery to get my bandages off.I am currently 12 days post op and am very happy with the results, they look very natural, they are soft already, I cant feel the implants just alittle sore where i had the incision but apart from that they are perfect, no one has asked or noticed that I had anything done.

I wasn’t too sure weather I wanted to share my story or not but reading through all of the stories in this forum that have helped me make my decisions I know for sure I will be able to inform someone out there and help someone too.I’m an African female , tall and slim very athletic all my life. Since the age of 13 when I noticed my friends growing their teen breasts I couldn’t wait only to rapidly realise that I was a very slow developer. My mum always told me when you have your children they will grow so I waited patiently and by the age of 27 I had two children and yes! my breast grew beautifully to around 36 C from a flat 34A I was amazed. Due to poor nutrition on my part I lost all that new breast fat and milk and stored and my breast totally deflated, saggy and with a few stretch marks.Now my thoughts of breasts re emerged, having experienced having breasts and how they enhanced my physic and increased my sexual appetite, the same thoughts have have come back again and I want to have permanent breasts. :) through surgery. Please note: Ladies, all my life i have been flat chested and my metabolism is very fast so i dont keep fat on me for very long, so i came to terms that im going to be like this for my entire life and that was ok, but the option to change that at this point was very tempting and i have decided to alter myself to enhance my life experience with my family and life partner. This is not a decision you should take lightly, do your research into your body and don’t rush into anything because there is plenty of time to make this sort of decision.Back to the story, I came across a company in London with great staff, booked my consultation and it went great. The consultant informed me about the products used, their prices and my expectations. I was of course nervous but it’s natural as this is a very personal journey to us all, my consultant booked an appointment for me to meet my surgeon and after I few minutes talking I decided that I was going to choose them for my surgery. ( I know I told you all to research, and don’t make fast decision this is all true, but I also trust my gut instincts) It was the way he introduced himself and the way he addressed me made me confident at his abilities (No I had not seen any pictures of his work ether! Crazy right!!) After meeting with him he had a clear idea of what I wanted and made a few suggestions in my patient book. I had told my consultant that I was happy with my DR. and that I wanted TO PROCEED!!!Girls!!!! so I went home and took his name and researched a little bit more about him and his credentials were unbelievable and extremely impressive, I had to reassure myself from that gut instinct you see!!
