Before and After BUTTOCK AUGMENTATION WITH FAT TRANSFER

My Brazilian butt lift experience with Dr Stefano Cotrufo has been absolutley amazing from start to finish. I researched so many surgeons and Dr Cotrufo’s name kept coming up for body contouring and cosmetic plastic surgery. I initially thought Harley Street might be too expensive for me, which is why I hesitated at first, but it was the best decision ever. The level of professionalism, experience, care and thoroughness of Dr Cotrufo was so much higher then anywhere else. I came to see him 3 times in his clinic in Harley Street. He explained carefully and clearly what was possible to achieve by using VASER rather than traditional liposuction. I initially wanted to do liposuction to arms flanks and outer thighs without a fat transfer to the buttock but Dr advised (and showed me in a picture) that the result with adding a small amount of fat would be much nicer. I am so glad I followed his advice! The hospital was very clean, modern and the staff super friendly. I stayed overnight, saw Dr Cotrufo when I woke up and went home in a taxi (sitting on my knees :-) ) after breakfast! I went from a oldish looking bum to a perky, round but not too big one giving an overall very natural hourglass look! My arms and knees now are much slimmer and I can’t even see any of the skin incisions! I have been sharing my pictures with my friends who now want the same surgery but if I would not have told them it would just look like I naturally have this amazing JLo body! The first week after the procedure, I did not even need all my painkillers, and was walking (carefully) around the house, up & down the stairs, cooking within 24hrs. Dr Cotrufo called personally to check up on me and I have been in touch with his assistant Wiesje regularly for advise on garments, post op massages and anything else. It has been wonderful to have total peace of mind throughout my first plastic surgery procedure and to know that I can always talk to someone if I need help or advice. The procedure I was looking for was a Tummy Tuck coupled with Lipo and fat graft to buttocks for a BBL. It was a complex combination from a recovery point of view. Following a year’s worth of research which included consultations with 4 different Harley St surgeons and 1 Spain based, I met Dr. Cotrufo. Dr. Cotrufo on my first consultation very quickly recognised my nervous enthusiasm. He put me at ease and answered every single question no matter how silly. Following this first consultation I researched more about Dr. Cotrufo. Aside from real-self where most are paying private patients, I researched wider and came across reviews from NHS (National Health Service) patients that Dr. Cotrufo had worked with. Some of these reviews were from people who had undergone complex reconstructive surgery as a result of cancer. The patient spoke of how delighted they were with a natural looking scar free outcome. These were reviews that mattered to me personally; coming from non-paying patients speaking highly of a Dr’s craft. Dr Cotrufo stood out from others I had met on Harley Street for his sense of duty of care towards his patients as opposed to others that saw me as a paying customer. I felt safe and reassured that I was in very capable hands. I booked my surgery for 6th of December 2017. Everything went to plan and I was home following a two-night stay at the hospital. Soon after surgery I was surprised at how little pain and discomfort I felt after a combination procedure on 3 different areas of my body. I found that this procedure was far less painful compared to the episiotomy I had during labour. At day 3 I stopped taking my painkillers altogether. This was amazing, as I’d seen some really unsavoury recovery experiences on YouTube from people with similar combination of procedures. I sincerely believe this was down to Dr Cotrufo’s outstanding skills as a surgeon. Once home I unfortunately caught the Noro virus from my lil one and had to be taken back to my primary care provider, the NHS. The doctor and the two surgeons who treated me in A&E examined the tummy tuck incision and complemented the skill behind it. They said that I would have a great cosmetic outcome when I was all healed up. I am now 4weeks post-op and each day I am happier with my results and my choice of surgeon. My tummy tuck scar is so thin almost like a light pencil line and the bellybutton is very natural looking as the suturing is from the inside. I have seen some pictures of mediocre tummy tucks with stuck on bellybuttons and I can confidently say my own result is elegant and natural looking with no scarring on the outside. I am fairly slender and did not have much fat to give for BBL however the Dr managed to transform my entire shape with the little fat I had. He’s an artist as much as he is a surgeon. I have a better body and contours now than I did pre-preganacy and am well pleased with the outcome. The icing on the cake is the fact that Dr. Cotrufo is always accessible. He personally texts and phones regularly to check on my recovery and to address any questions or concerns I may have, including on holidays. He also has a committed practice manager (Claudia) who is prompt and professional. I cannot thank Dr Cotrufo enough for giving me a body I am happy to live in for the rest of my life. If you are considering cosmetic or reconstructive surgery I would very highly recommend Dr Cotrufo; not only are his surgical skills exceptional he genuinely cares for your outcome and is with you every step of the way. I had a bbl two years ago with a well known surgeon in Harley St. but I was disatisfied with the results as my bum didn’t look prominent enough. This is why I went to a consultation with Dr Cotrufo with hopes that I still had some fat left to transfer (I am already quite thin and I had been told by other surgeons that I didn’t have enough fat to do another BBL). But Dr. Cotrufo very quickly understood what I was looking for and we both agreed in what could be done. He took a long time to analyse my body and my concerns with the attention to detail of an artist. And most important, he listened to me until we 100% agreed of what would be the ideal result. I researched the bbl extensively and initially booked to do it in Spain before getting put off by their inconsistent pre-op admin. Then I saw another surgeon in Knightsbridge who is a well known name in the field. After reading his reviews, I chickened out as the previous clients said the results were not great. I saw Dr Stefano and instantly felt in good hands. I was reassured by the fact that he understood what I wanted. He didn’t try to push me to get as much work done as possible, in fact he told me not to touch an area as that could lead to needing more work in future- who ever heard of a surgeon passing up an opportunity to charge you more?!! He knew his stuff though as nearly 2 months on, I’m delighted with the results. He and his staff are attentive, easy to reach, always there to reassure you and genuinely good at their job. As planned, 8 weeks after my tummy tuck I went back to Dr Cotrufo for my Brazilian Butt Lift. Physically I felt fit ready to do another procedure which was important to both myself and Dr.We had discussed my desired results in our last meeting and I showed him pictures of the shape I was hoping to achieve and he told me how attainable the results were for my body shape.On the day of surgery, Doctor Cotrufo was as cheery as ever which really enhanced my already excited mood. Waking up from surgery I was already in my compression garment which I was put in at the end of my surgery. The garment was quite bloody in the areas where the Doctor had made the incisions (this is very normal but good to be aware it’s going to happen). You can’t sit or lay on your bum at all (for a minimum of 6 weeks!). I found laying on my front quite annoying, so I did a variety of kneeling, standing and laying on my front.It’s important to try and not sit on your bum for as long as you can. At 7 / 8 weeks I sat a bit awkwardly which has left a bit of a oddly shaped dent in my bum. It’s not the end of the world but it’s a good ting for others to bare in mind.Wearing you compression garments after surgery is absolutely key!! It helps to shape your body after surgery. I have been wearing mine ever since my surgery and will continue to wear for months to come. As the swelling ids down in your body, you’ll need to keep reducing the size of the garment to keep it as fired as possible.Dr Cotrufo and his assistant Wiesje have been great during my process. Great resources to ask questions if unsure about anything. Would definitely recommend!

I have recently just had surgery with Dr Cotrufo. I had fat transfer from my back, flanks and upper arms to my buttocks and hips also from under my chin but that wasn’t used for the transfer. The type of liposuction was Vaser what is recommended for better overall skin tightening and less agressive than normal liposuction. I wanted a more fuller, firmer buttock I also wanted a smaller waist and hips, not a lot to ask for! Dr Cotrufo was very reassuring on my consultation and made me feel at ease about the procedure. I can honestly say I never imagined the results would be as amazing as they are! When I came around after surgery Dr Cotrufo was there and reassured me everything went to plan what I was happy to hear. When I looked at my results that night I thought I had imagined what I saw, I couldn’t believe I finally had hips and a peachy bum! I was no longer straight up/ down I had that smaller waist and finally some shape to my body! Best decision I made is when I cancel flying to Spain for my BBL procedure and choose to stay here in London. From first consultation, I feel confident and knew I can trust him. Dr . Cotrufo is calm, patient, very friendly and polite. He was brutally honest right from the beginning with regards to risk involved, precautions and outcomes.
