I had a tummy tuck with a groin lift with Dr.Cotrufo two weeks ago, and was shocked from how amazing the results have been. After having a baby 18 months ago, I was left with an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti of 11cm apart.
I’ve not had the best experiences in the past with other plastic surgeons so I was nervous finding a surgeon that I could trust.
After my first consultation with Dr Cotrufo, I immediately knew he was the best person to do perform my abdominalplasty. He was very professional, I didn’t feel rushed, he listened to my concerns and was very informative about the procedure.
The day of my surgery I felt relaxed and comfortable. I was expecting to feel nervous but I knew I was in good hands. After my surgery I was happy to see Dr Cotrufo several times, bedside manner means a lot to me.
The aftercare is amazing, it was comforting to have a scheduled follow up appointment the week after the surgery with Dr Cotrufo to check on the progress and to take out the drains.
In the past, I’ve experienced not so great aftercare with other surgeons were follow ups will be weeks after, and this was where complications developed.
I never felt alone during this recovery, his patient coordinator Wiesje was absolutely lovely, she answered all my questions and was very attentive throughout the whole process.
I am now 6 weeks post-op and I’m very impressed by the results, the swelling is going down and my stomach is getting flatter. The incision scar is healing nicely.

I first met Dr Cotrufo in January 2023 to discuss vaser liposuction on my inner thighs, full front and back and neck/jaw line. Dr Cotrufo made me feel at ease during the consultation. Whilst standing in front of the mirror, all the areas were talked about and not once did I feel uncomfortable. I then had a follow up consultation in September and again in February 2024 and then the surgery date was booked for April 2024. The length of time from my first consultation to having the surgery was purely down to the running of my business and working 7 days a week, both Dr Cotrufo and his assistant Wesjie have been very patient with me. The surgery itself went well and smoothly, all the staff at the hospital were kind and caring. I had an overnight stay and went home the following morning. The pain and discomfort was minimal, I would say getting around the house was just awkward. Dr Cotrufo’s assistant messaged me daily to see how I was doing. My body coped well with the healing process and my results were very noticeable within days. I am now 8 weeks post surgery and still have very good communication with Dr Cotrufo and Wesjie. I am over the moon with my results, I wanted to be fabulous at 40 and Dr Cotrufo certainly helped me get there and now I can’t wait to be on holiday for my birthday and feeling good! I had Vaser Lipo and BBL procedure with Dr Cotrufo. My hips were dipping and from behind I looked square. I can honestly say this surgeon is exceptional. He made me feel so comfortable and understood my concerns from our very first consultation. I cannot believe how I look just a few weeks on since surgery, so natural. The hospital facility is wonderful, the staff there are lovely, and his PA is superb and always on hand. My case was also special because it required some unexpected management by Dr Cotrufo during surgery. I had not ceased to take some vitamins in the weeks leading up, and this is not advised. Therefore, it meant I bled during surgery which he had to manage along with delivering the result. It was a challenge he was not expecting and yet my result has exceeded my expectations, I feel fantastic. Above all Dr Cotrufo is a sculptor!

Dr. Cotrufo is very attentive, explains every detail before and during the procedure, with great attention. The procedure had an immediate result, but days later it got even better, exceeded my expectations and helped a lot in my self-esteem. It was my first aesthetic procedure and I trusted him with my eyes closed.

Excellent Doctor. Helped heal my c section scar 6 months post partum when the itchiness and soreness wouldn’t subside. Also did my septorhinoplasty following an accident in my youth.
