I met the dr thanks to social media and was immediately impressed with his work. especially because I have a fit body and he had excellent results in his skinny bbls. I contacted him and he was very clear and very helpful and after my first consultation I made up my mind and knew that I would be in excellent hands. I am in my 8 week after the operation and my results are very natural, I have dieted and exercised for years and I had never seen my waist so defined, I also keep most of the fat that was transplanted. The hospital staff was very kind and helped me a lot. I definitely recommend Dr Cotrufo!

After having a baby 18 months ago, I was left with an umbilical hernia and diastasis recti of 11cm apart.
I’ve not had the best experiences in the past with other plastic surgeons so I was nervous finding a surgeon that I could trust.
After my first consultation with Dr Cotrufo, I immediately knew he was the best person to do perform my abdominalplasty. He was very professional, I didn’t feel rushed, he listened to my concerns and was very informative about the procedure.
The day of my surgery I felt relaxed and comfortable. I was expecting to feel nervous but I knew I was in good hands. After my surgery I was happy to see Dr Cotrufo several times, bedside manner means a lot to me.
The aftercare is amazing, it was comforting to have a scheduled follow up appointment the week after the surgery with Dr Cotrufo to check on the progress and to take out the drains.
In the past, I’ve experienced not so great aftercare with other surgeons were follow ups will be weeks after, and this was where complications developed.
I never felt alone during this recovery, his patient coordinator Wiesje was absolutely lovely, she answered all my questions and was very attentive throughout the whole process.
I am now 6 weeks post-op and I’m very impressed by the results, the swelling is going down and my stomach is getting flatter. The incision scar is healing nicely.

Dr Cotrufo’s surgery changed my life. NHS messed up an initial septoplasty rendering me unable to breathe from my right nostril. I came across Dr Cotrufo on Realself and noticed that his nose surgery results were super natural. I’m so so happy that I went along with Dr Cotrufo. I’m still recovering from my revision septorhinoplasty but the difference between this recovery period and the one with the NHS is world’s apart. This recovery was so much more smoother, and I had the correct support and aftercare advice this time. I have never breathed like this before? It is unbelievable that this is the first time I’m experiencing proper breathing through the nostril. Dr Cotrufo has given me the confidence to go back to the gym (something I struggled with prior to surgery) and this surgery has improved my sleep remarkably. I was a mouth breather prior to this but enjoy taking each breath through my nose now. The results are super natural as well – like my old nose but better and actually functioning as a nose. Dr Stefano Cotrufo was remarkable throughout. My surgery was a 3rd revision septorhinoplasty which I discussed with Stefano for a year before undertaking the procedure. I had a number of major concerns around fixing what was quite a agravated breathing problem but also altering the shape and appearance of my nose as a result of the required procedure.

Dr. Stefano listened and advised in great detail over the year that we discussed my case in order to arrive at a sugery plan that we were both comfortable with. The case itself was extremely challenging in that 1) revision Septorhinoplasty is probably the most difficult procedure in cosmetic plastic surgery; a 3rd revision, due to the amount of scar tissue, is the highest level of complexity and there are very few surgeons who can perform this in the UK and Europe 2) Stefano achieved an outstanding improvement of breathing function, nose shape and facial balance that looks extremely natural.

Even on the day of my surgery I was able to breathe much better and six weeks on (as I write this) with at least 85% of the swelling gone, the breathing continues to improve and the cosmetic result is also very pleasing.

I am extremely picky about quality and my looks (as we all probably are when it comes to such a central feature as one’s nose) but I cannot recommend Dr Cotrufo highly enough. My daughter has a similar issue and I will absolutely be using Stefano for her case too.

Currently just over one week post-op for a Brazilian butt lift with 200cc implants, having just recovered fully from a previous fat transfer from my back to hips, and I’m absolutely ecstatic with my results. Dr Cotrufo has completely exceeded my expectations, I could never have imagined I would ever look this good, I’m aware that it’s still very early post-surgery and that the final results will be determined in a few months but I’m still so happy with what I’m seeing. I had a bbl done a little over a month ago and I couldn’t be happier with the results. A very nice and caring surgeon who will be there for you at every stage of your cosmetic procedure and during post op recovery. He really takes his time to achieve a perfect result and is very gentle when operating. I have friends who had breast implant revision by him even when capsular contracture/scar tissue has been an issue their results have been outstanding and natural. A very talented surgeon with proper experience and knowledge.
